about me

My twenties have been a slap of reality.
Being faced with the idea of getting older, having to actually figure out who I am, and going through “adult” experiences for the first time (such as getting a job, graduating college, and new relationships) has been one of the most isolating and confusing periods of my life. Sometimes there’s only so much your parents, friends, and therapist can help you learn.
This blog is a chaotic combination of my personal musings, experiences, and struggles of learning how to find my place in life and discover what it means to exist in a world filled with impossible social nuances. Whatever you’re going through, hopefully this blog lets you know you’re not alone.
Some of the things I discuss are my struggles with mental health, my fear of growing up, societial pressures, fashion and media trends, relationship issues, and the progress to discover who I am and what being alive means to me.

Who Am I?
I am a 22 year old teenaged girl living somewhere in the Deep South who happens to be a college student, barista, and poet. I am filled with anxiety, (lots of) tears, and depression…as well as love, understanding, and a LOT of overwhelming emotions. I love art, literature, photography, fashion, and the idea of the unique human experience.

you’re NOT alone
Anything you’re going through, I’ve been through it too. Hopefully this blog allows you to see yourself in the reflection. From mental health, relationships, finances, and daily experinces, I talk about it all- completely unfiltered.
